CHINGMU’s benchmark case in the gaming field—*Phantom Blade Zero*—successfully validates the industrial application of CHINGMU’s high-end motion capture technology. To create lifelike characters and authentic martial arts combat scenes in the game, the production team used CHINGMU’s optical motion capture system—widely adopted in top-tier film, animation, and game production—for character ideation and design.

For example, for the boss lion in the game, CHINGMU’s optical motion capture system provided technical support for creative realization. Leveraging sub-millimeter capture accuracy and multi-target tracking algorithms, it successfully replicated the beast dynamics simulated by two motion capture actors, ensuring the plausibility and authenticity of the game character’s movements, and ultimately presenting a realistic, agile lion with strong boss presence.

In addition, the Boss “ Sword Formation” in the game trailer was not simply a copy-and-paste of one motion capture actor’s completed movements; rather, it was a creative expression achieved by capturing formation motion data from seven motion capture performers. According to producer Liang Qiwu (Soulframe), in terms of action design, each person’s martial arts moves and visual presentation are different. Through motion capture, real martial arts movements are mapped 1:1 into game creation, creating authentic combat scenes and a more immersive gaming experience for players.
