On April 10, 2026, marking the 55th anniversary of China-US "Ping-Pong Diplomacy," the commemorative conference was successfully held at the Beijing Capital Indoor Stadium. At the event, the exhibition match between Chinese table tennis legend Deng Yaping and the AGIBOT X2 robot sparked an enthusiastic response from the audience.

Behind this untethered, fully autonomous table tennis interaction, AGIBOT, in collaboration with Peking University and the technical team led by Zhang Shanghang from Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI), rapidly broke through key technical bottlenecks within just 10 days. This was achieved by leveraging Lingxi X2's open SDK ecosystem and model accumulation, demonstrating the real-time decision-making and complex motion capabilities of Chinese bipedal robots in long-duration, high-dynamic adversarial scenarios. At the table tennis venue, 9 units of CHINGMU's K (Kunpeng) Series K5 cameras were deployed to track the pose and position of the ping-pong ball, empowering the robot to deliver precise and high-speed responses with every strike.
