In the CHINGMU "Digital Dream" Special Competition of the 20th China Creative Challenges Contest, the national first prize-winning work in the Digital Human Performance Show category, "The Momentary Realm," presents three progressively evolving scenes from abstraction to representation, showcasing the digital human spontaneously "growing" skin and a soul that harmonizes with each environment. Through three progressive acts—Ink Wash, Cyber, and Fusion—the digital human transforms across different forms: from the tranquil rhythm of 2D ink wash, to the lightness of a translucent luminous body, and finally to a realistic form blending strength and softness. This rhythmic evolution interprets the unique aesthetic of digital art.
In terms of technical execution, the production team used CHINGMU's high-precision optical motion capture system to capture the digital human performer's movements in real time. The system's real-time driving function enabled the digital human to synchronously reflect the performer's pose changes and motion details. To accommodate the work's three-act progressive visual style transitions, the team flexibly utilized the motion capture system to maintain data continuity and consistency across scene changes, ensuring the digital human's movement rhythm precisely aligned with the visual language of each phase. This enabled deep integration with various virtual scene styles—Ink Wash, Cyber, and Realistic—transforming abstract aesthetic concepts into tangible dynamic visual presentations.
