The School of Naval Architecture and Maritime Engineering at Zhejiang Ocean University utilized the CHINGMU MC Series motion capture system to conduct scale model ship testing and motion data acquisition. The experimental environment — simulating real-world conditions including ocean currents and wind loading — introduced significant interference, imposing stringent requirements on the environmental adaptability and operational stability of the data acquisition system.
The MC4000 distinguished itself from competing solutions through its exceptional long-range capture capability, combined with high-precision and highly stable tracking performance. The system successfully supported the test team in acquiring full 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) motion data for ship models operating in water, delivering the measurement fidelity required to drive optimization of ship model design.
