Visual Concepts turned to the independent wrestling scene while developing WWE 2K23.
The moves featured in the upcoming game were assembled using motion capture. Former IMPACT Wrestling standout Lady Frost revealed that she performed motion capture work for WWE 2K23.

Frost wrote on Twitter: “What a cool experience being a motion capture performer for this game! Grateful for these opportunities and can’t wait for you all to tell me which moves you think I performed!”
Frost was not the only indie talent involved. Trish Adora and Hyan also stated they completed motion capture sessions with Visual Concepts.
Beyond indie wrestling circuits, Adora has worked for TJPW and competed at ROH Final Battle. Hyan mainly performs across Texas, while Lady Frost has competed in CMLL over recent months. Non-WWE talents are regularly brought in for motion capture. Names including Chris Bey, Jay Lethal, Jeff Cobb, TJP, Lio Rush and Colt Cabana have all worked on past WWE 2K titles.
WWE 2K23 launched Friday, March 17 for Xbox, PlayStation consoles and PC.
