Saweetie is set to hold a virtual concert inside the video game Roblox as part of the Super Bowl LVII celebrations.

Feb. 2 (UPI) — Saweetie will stage a special concert on Roblox to mark Super Bowl LVII.

The National Football League (NFL) announced the Saweetie Super Bowl Concert, the virtual show hosted within the video game Roblox, in a press release on Thursday.

The event takes place in Warner Music Group’s Rhythm City, a music-themed social roleplaying experience on Roblox. Saweetie will deliver a family-friendly motion-captured concert featuring Tap In and other hit tracks.

The show celebrates Super Bowl LVII and carries a message of female empowerment.

“I’m so excited to bring this iconic moment to the metaverse and share my music with a whole new audience in this unique way! As an artist, innovator and football fan, performing in this new world — Rhythm City on Roblox — on Super Bowl LVII weekend is something I never imagined I’d get to do. I’m grateful and thrilled for this opportunity. I can’t wait for fans to experience what we’ve created.”

The Saweetie Super Bowl Concert premieres at 7 p.m. ET on February 10 and rebroadcasts hourly through February 12, the day of Super Bowl LVII.

Additionally, the NFL will launch the Super NFL Tycoon experience on Roblox on February 4, letting users live the fantasy of being an NFL team owner.

Saweetie is known for singles including Icy Grl, My Type and Best Friend with Doja Cat. The singer released her new EP The Single Life in November.
