On June 6th, the 2024 Chinese Humanoid Robot Developer Conference and the 3rd Zhangjiang Robot Global Ecology Summit were held at Zhangjiang Science Hall in Pudong, Shanghai. With the theme of "Intelligence Leading the Future, Dynamic Zhangjiang", this summit covered "1 main forum, 2 special forums, 3 developer forums, and 1 humanoid robot exhibition", presenting a comprehensive, multi-angle, and multi-modal overview of the humanoid robot industry, and building a platform for sharing and communication for humanoid robot developers. As an industry-leading motion capture enterprise, CHINGMU Vision was invited to attend this conference and make a keynote sharing, which received widespread attention from the delegates and in-depth exchanges and discussions after the conference. This conference was guided by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization and the People's Government of Pudong New Area, Shanghai, and was hosted by the National and Local Co-built Humanoid Robot Innovation Center and Shanghai Zhangjiang (Group) Co., Ltd., and jointly organized by Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao (Group) Co., Ltd. As the first event in the industry centered on humanoid robot and embodied intelligence developers, it gathered over 2,000 developers, over 100 academicians, experts, outstanding leaders, innovative makers, and business elites renowned in the field of humanoid robots and embodied intelligence to jointly discuss the development of humanoid robots and witness the latest scientific research achievements.
At the special forum on core components of humanoid robots in the developer forum, Zhang Haiwei, the CEO of CHINGMU Vision, delivered a keynote speech titled "Evaluation and Learning: The Application of Motion Capture System in the Development of Humanoid Robots". Zhang Haiwei first systematically introduced the advantages and characteristics of motion capture, and put forward relevant motion capture solutions and suggestions for the problems in the development process of humanoid robots, such as the design of flexible limb joints, the completion of more complex tasks, and the shaping of human-computer interaction, as well as how to make humanoid robots closer to humans. He also mentioned the industry-leading motion capture technologies independently innovated by CHINGMU Vision, such as optical finger capture, quadruped capture, and outdoor enhancement, hoping to contribute the strength and wisdom of the enterprise in promoting the intelligent manufacturing research and development of humanoid robots.
