These days, the opening ceremony of Wuhan "Zhi Yin Yu Mei" Animation Season, jointly sponsored by Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, Wuhan Institute of Chinese Culture, and Hubei Higher Education Society Committee of Art Design, was held in Yellow Crane Tower Park. Deputy Mayor of Wuhan Municipal People's Government Meng Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts Zhou Feng, Deputy Minister of United Front Work Department of Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Wuhan Institute of Chinese Culture Wang Lei, Member of the Standing Committee of Hanyang District Party Committee, Minister of Publicity Lei Zubing, Party Member of Wuhan Institute of Chinese Culture, Vice President Liang Haitao, Curator of Wuhan Art Museum Chen Yongjin, Dean of School of Media of Nanjing University of the Arts Xue Feng, Professor Lian Junying of Film and Television Animation major of School of Design, Entertainment and Multimedia of Hanrui University, and relevant industry and enterprise leaders such as CHINGMU attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was emceed by Yuan Xiaoshan, dean of the School of Film and Animation of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts.
This event aims to strengthen the interaction between universities and industries, promote the integrated development of the animation, cultural and tourism industries, and present an unconventional anime feast for the audience. At this opening ceremony, the founding ceremony of the Alumni Association of the Film and Animation Industry of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts and the awarding ceremony for outstanding graduates and outstanding works were also held. Liang Haitao, a member of the Party Leadership Group and vice president of Wuhan Institute of Chinese Culture, Chen Yongjin, curator of Wuhan Art Museum, and Cha Baochun, general manager of Wuhan Xintianchuang, presented awards to the winning students.

The Wuhan "Bosom Friends Encountering Beauty" Animation Season was held from May 25th to June 8th. It included three exhibitions, one academic forum, one award ceremony, one job fair, and one investment promotion meeting. A total of more than 220 works were exhibited, covering various fields such as film and television animation, comic illustrations, game art, dynamic interaction, and film and television production. The event locations included Yellow Crane Tower, Hanyangzao Cultural and Creative Industrial Park, and the Canglongdao Campus of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts. Through various forms such as joint exhibitions between schools and enterprises, special exhibitions of Sino-foreign cooperative education, and student works exhibitions, the event showcased the latest achievements in the film and television animation industry and the teaching achievements of colleges and universities.

As the leading unit of this event, Hubei Institute of Fine Arts is the only institution of higher learning of fine arts in the central region of China and was the earliest authorized institution for the discipline of fine arts in China. In 2018, the school was listed by the provincial government as a "Double First-Class" construction university (domestic first-class discipline construction university), and fine arts was listed as a domestic first-class discipline construction discipline. The school currently has 12 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 6 provincial research institutions, and 12 provincial scientific and technological innovation teams. It has been approved for nearly 500 vertical scientific research projects of various types, and more than 1,000 awards for various creations and designs. In the selection of the "China Art Award" in the past three sessions, the works of the school's teachers have all won the highest awards, including 2 gold awards for the creation award (National Art Exhibition) and 1 award for theoretical commentary.
