Recently, the launching ceremony for the Working Committee for Culture‑Art & Technology under China Society of Art Vocational Education and the Alliance for the Construction of the Red‑Culture Digital Resource Library for Comprehensive Ideological‑Political Courses was held at Shanghai Film Art Vocational College. As one of the initiator organizations and the Vice‑Chairman entity of the first Working Committee for Culture‑Art & Technology, Zhang Haiwei, Chairman of CHINGMU, was invited to attend the unveiling ceremony.

Jointly founded by Shanghai Film Art Vocational College, Shanghai Film Group Co., Ltd., Pudong New Area Education Bureau, the Memorial Hall of the 4th CPC National Congress and multiple local universities in Shanghai, the Alliance aims to thoroughly study, publicize and implement the spirits of the 20th CPC National Congress, implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on education, and realize the shared access to high‑quality red‑culture digital resources.

Entrusted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, the Working Committee for Culture‑Art & Technology is founded to adapt to the diversified, globalized and digital development of contemporary arts. It is committed to boosting the integration of arts and technologies as well as culture‑tourism integration for high‑quality development of art vocational education, and advancing the dual progress of talent cultivation and art‑and‑culture communication.

President Jiang Bo noted that the college consistently adheres to the guidance of red‑culture inheritance, integrates art and technology, and delivers solid featured achievements. It promotes the in‑depth alignment between artistic creation and moral‑shaping education. Leveraging the newly‑established Alliance and Working Committee platforms, the college will deepen multi‑party cooperation, inject fresh momentum into comprehensive ideological‑political courses, and forge a key instrument for passing down red heritage.


Tong Ke, Curator of the Memorial Hall of the 4th CPC National Congress


Curator Tong Ke stated that university‑museum cooperation will build a multi‑dimensional, interconnected communication matrix for red culture. It will explore innovative online‑offline models for red‑culture supply, empower patriotism education via digital tools, and embed red elements into comprehensive ideological‑political courses. It will lay solid groundwork for promoting Shanghai’s iconic red‑culture brand and setting a Shanghai model for cultural confidence and self‑improvement.

Vice‑President Xu Chunping mentioned that art and technology constitute two wings for film industry. Digital technologies help explore red cultural heritage, create red‑culture IPs, highlight Shanghai’s red‑cultural roots, and give full play to the educational value of outstanding films. It fosters teenagers’ affection for red culture and supports Shanghai’s development as a prime practice ground for Xi Jinping Thought on Culture.

Following the ceremony, leaders and guests toured the on‑campus teaching site for red‑culture digital resources, as well as the themed exhibition Tracing the Source of Strength, Carrying Forward the Red Heritage — Documentary & Photo Exhibition of the 4th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Shen Wei highly commended the event. He pointed out that this occasion should be taken to empower ideological‑political teaching with digital technologies, improve educational outcomes through effective content output, and advance cultural development via collaborative partnerships. We shall make good use of Shanghai’s abundant red‑cultural resources, digitize rich red‑historical archives, ignite red‑cultural engines through art‑technology integration, and contribute Shanghai wisdom and Shanghai‑style highlights to building a modern socialist country and advancing the great national rejuvenation.

Pan Zhenzhou remarked that the integration of art and technology represents an inevitable trend for digital‑oriented education. Art vocational education should respond to industry‑era demands for innovation, practice Xi Jinping Thought on Culture, and cultivate artistic talents equipped with innovative minds, practical capabilities and a sense of cultural mission for the new era. Such talents will further contribute to inheriting and promoting fine Chinese culture and building a great cultural nation.

CHINGMU keeps deepening university‑enterprise collaboration and advancing industry‑university‑research integration. Up to now, CHINGMU has built partnerships with nearly 40 domestic higher‑education institutions including Tongji University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Shanghai Normal University, Communication University of China and Xidian University. It provides one‑stop technical, equipment and system support to fuel disciplinary development and talent cultivation for universities. As a member of the Working Committee for Culture‑Art & Technology of China Society of Art Vocational Education, CHINGMU will play an active role and offer more support for art‑technology integration and educational advancement in the future.
