No Worries After Graduation! CHINGMU Vision Deepens Industry‑Education Integration With Vocational Colleges Nationwide to Boost a New Talent‑training Model / Company Updates

2023/08/25

With continuous technological advances, metaverse‑related industries are quietly transforming people’s lifestyles. Talent shortage has become a prominent challenge for this emerging sector. While special‑support policies fuel the rapid growth of the metaverse industry, the gap for skilled professionals keeps widening.

China has steadily rolled out policies to promote industry‑education integration, making vocational education a key priority in educational development. As an innovative training model that closely connects industry and academia, industry‑education integration aims to cultivate high‑quality, application‑oriented talents who can meet social demands and deliver robust human‑resource support for economic growth.

To fully implement official documents such as Opinions on Promoting the High‑quality Development of Modern Vocational Education, deepen school‑enterprise cooperation, build a school‑industry community with shared interests, and guide academic programs to align with regional and industrial needs, multi‑party collaboration among government, industry associations, universities and enterprises has been carried out. In February 2023, CHINGMU Vision officially launched cooperation with Suzhou Arts and Crafts Vocational College. Together with multiple partners, the two sides built Phase I of the Metaverse Industry Institute at Xinghui 1976 Industrial Park, marking a new milestone in industry‑education integration.

This landmark initiative injects fresh momentum into bilateral cooperation, while bringing new opportunities for talent cultivation and industrial upgrading. By integrating metaverse technology into traditional arts‑and‑crafts teaching in Suzhou, the project advances vocational‑education reform and nurtures professionals for the digital preservation and inheritance of Suzhou‑based traditional folk crafts.

Optical motion‑capture technology acts as a powerful driving force for metaverse‑centered industries, bringing groundbreaking changes and unlimited development potential.

As a pioneer in optical motion capture, CHINGMU Vision has long devoted itself to technology R&D and holds a number of core patents. Its partnership with Suzhou Arts and Crafts Vocational College will focus on close collaboration with art and design majors to explore motion‑capture applications within creative fields and further accelerate the growth of virtual‑reality‑related industries.

On April 13, the Modern Industrial College of Digital Creativity at Anhui Sanlian University signed a cooperation agreement with CHINGMU Vision. Both parties aim to offer practical training opportunities for students, cultivate motion‑capture‑specialized talents, tightly integrate corporate R&D with undergraduate teaching and research, carry out two‑way exchanges, build up talent reserves for emerging industries, expand joint projects, boost graduate employment and technological innovation, and raise the academic influence of university‑enterprise partnerships through research and academic events.

In May of the same year, CHINGMU Vision settled in Qingdao Shibo Huachuang International Industry‑Education Integration Park and jointly set up the Motion‑Capture Industry‑Education Training Base. The facility houses a 500‑square‑meter film‑grade motion‑capture studio and an MR mixed‑reality virtual‑shooting studio, enabling university students to complete cinema‑level animation‑production projects on‑site. CHINGMU Vision also provides hands‑on training sessions, allowing students to experience this cutting‑edge technology firsthand.

The implementation of industry‑education‑integration policies not only improves vocational‑education quality, but also supplies enterprises with abundant application‑oriented talents. Under this cooperation model, schools and enterprises jointly design talent‑training curricula so that education can better match real‑world industrial requirements. Meanwhile, businesses can cut recruitment and staff‑training costs. In addition, industry‑education integration facilitates information sharing between academia and industry, helping educational programs keep pace with industrial transformation and upgrading.

Against this background, an increasing number of universities have launched practical cooperation projects with enterprises, including training‑base construction and order‑oriented talent programs, so that students can master operational skills through hands‑on practice.

CHINGMU Vision actively participates in teaching activities by providing internship openings and technical guidance to help students prepare for future careers. This close‑knit school‑enterprise partnership improves students’ practical capabilities and employability, and delivers strong talent support for the long‑term sustainable development of related industries.

As a promising new‑era talent‑training model, industry‑education integration enjoys broad prospects. With continued national policy support and deepening university‑enterprise collaboration, it will play an even larger role in talent cultivation, scientific‑technological innovation and public‑service delivery. Going forward, CHINGMU Vision will continue to work with all partners across society to advance the healthy and sustainable development of industry‑education integration in China.
