This seminar marked the second working conference jointly organized in 2023 by Guangxi Animation Vocational‑Education Group and Guangxi Animation Association. To further advance industry‑education integration and deliver high‑quality annual work, Liang Wenzhang issued follow‑up work arrangements. Centered on deepening industry‑education integration, the group will steadily carry out ten key tasks. All participating institutions are expected to cooperate closely and contribute to the revitalization of Guangxi’s animation industry and animation‑related vocational education.

Founded in 2013 upon the approval of Guangxi Regional Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and initiated by Guangxi Overseas Chinese School, Guangxi Animation Vocational‑Education Group was filed with the Regional Department of Education in 2014. It ranks among Guangxi’s first‑batch vocational‑education groups and was recognized as the second‑batch regional demonstration‑level vocational‑education group in 2019. It is Guangxi’s first vocational‑education consortium focusing on animation‑related industries.

Guangxi Animation Association is the industry association for Guangxi’s animation and game sector, with nearly 100 member enterprises. The local animation industry is currently on an upward growth trajectory. Preliminary statistics show that Guangxi is home to nearly 800 animation and game‑related businesses, including 14 national‑level animation enterprises, more than 30 regional key animation enterprises and 16 animation‑talent training bases, with an annual industrial output value exceeding 500 million RMB.

In the next stage, riding on the nationwide boom in vocational‑education development and Guangxi’s accelerated vocational‑education upgrading, Guangxi Animation Vocational‑Education Group and Guangxi Animation Association will seek breakthroughs through bold innovation and practical exploration. Following the principles of resource sharing, complementary advantages and differentiated development, they will take the vocational‑education group as a platform and specialty‑building as the core. By implementing four‑dimensional integration — integration of concepts, driving forces, projects and resources, they will closely align with Guangxi’s digital‑cultural industries and pool premium educational resources. Guided by the development framework of “One Core, Two Wings, Three Coordination Mechanisms and Four Support Systems”, the two organizations aim to establish a Guangxi‑wide industry‑education integration community for the digital‑creativity sector. Deep industry‑education collaboration will be advanced, teaching quality will be substantially improved, and the clustered advantages of group‑run vocational schools will be brought into full play. The consortium will strive to become a regional benchmark and a national demonstration model for animation‑focused vocational education, providing a replicable “Guangxi solution” for industry‑education integration communities across China.
