On July 6, Hu Shihao, Education‑sector Manager of CHINGMU, gave a keynote speech entitled “New Frontiers of Digital Culture: Future‑Oriented Education in Meta‑verse Scenarios”. He shared insights on the development trends of education under the meta‑verse with teachers, students and industry guests on‑site.

Back in May this year, CHINGMU established its wholly‑owned subsidiary, CHINGMU (Qingdao) Vision Technology Co., Ltd., inside Qingdao Shibo Huachuang International Industry‑Education Integration Park, and jointly built a motion‑capture industry‑education training base with the park. The base houses a 500‑square‑meter film‑grade motion‑capture studio and an MR mixed‑reality virtual‑shooting studio. Equipped with 100 high‑performance MC4000 motion‑capture cameras, the capture area supports simultaneous motion‑tracking for more than ten performers and delivers cinema‑level animation‑production capacity.

The MR mixed‑reality shooting zone enables virtual‑shooting sessions where digital‑human avatars and real‑life actors appear together inside virtual environments, with real‑time rendering supporting live streamed virtual‑and‑real hybrid broadcasts. Unlike conventional green‑screen workflows, the integrated motion‑capture and green‑screen setup tracks camera positions in real‑time, aligns physical and virtual cameras synchronously, and delivers full 360‑degree immersive MR shooting.

As a leading domestic optical motion‑capture enterprise, CHINGMU’s self‑developed optical tracking systems have been widely adopted by major animation, film and internet companies across China, with a rich portfolio of completed commercial projects. Its film‑and‑animation credits include The Battle at Lake Changjin, One and Only, Born to Fly, Shrouding the Heavens, Perfect World, Battle Through the Heavens, and Nice View. Notable digital‑human projects cover virtual host YAOYAO from Hunan Broadcasting System, Baidu AI‑digital‑human Xijiajia, and Mengniu’s first virtual‑employee Naisi.

CHINGMU’s settlement in the Shibo Huachuang Park and its newly‑built motion‑capture industry‑education training base will make domestic animation‑production and MR‑shooting technologies more accessible to university teachers and students nationwide, and provide hands‑on practical‑training opportunities for college learners. Going forward, CHINGMU will continue to collaborate with universities and industry partners to advance the national industry‑education‑integration strategy and contribute to the digital transformation of vocational education.
