Hosted by the Asian Virtual Association, undertaken by Yingji Culture Media (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Suifeng Vision Co., Ltd., and exclusively sponsored and co‑organized for the workshop by CHINGMU, the Shanghai stop of the 48‑Hour International Virtual Production Competition & 12‑Hour Practical Dual‑Day Camp on Virtual Production and Digital Humans successfully concluded on May 11 at CHINGMU Shanghai Headquarters.

During the two‑day intensive training camp, two instructors with rich on‑site virtual production experience delivered integrated theoretical lectures and hands‑on guidance. Participants systematically learned the fundamental principles of virtual production and digital human technology as well as their practical applications in Unreal Engine. They mastered cutting‑edge real‑time filmmaking workflows and industry trends, achieving comprehensive upgrades in technical skills and creative thinking from scratch. All teachers and students expressed that they had gained substantial insights and practical experience from the event.

Virtual production breaks through temporal and spatial limitations for filmmakers, enabling freer and more precise creative creation. Digital human technology delivers more advanced and refined virtual characters and has been widely adopted across diverse industries. Serving as indispensable technical support for film, television, game and other creative sectors, the two technologies will maintain rapid growth and expand into broader application fields in the future.

Equipped with self‑developed professional optical motion capture systems, CHINGMU provides cost‑effective, high‑precision motion capture solutions ranging from lightweight setups to full industrial‑grade film production configurations. The technology effectively improves shooting efficiency, reduces post‑production workload and cuts overall production costs for the film and television industry.

CHINGMU’s motion capture technology has supported the production of numerous blockbuster film and television works, including The Battle at Lake Changjin, Water Gate Bridge, Nice View, Galaxy Tutorial and Born to Fly.
