The 9th IEEJ International Workshop on Sensing, Actuation, Motion Control, and Optimization (SAMCON2023) will be held in Nanjing from March 24 to 26, 2023.

Hosted by the Industry Applications Society of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ), co‑undertaken by Southeast University and Jiangsu Automation Society, and co‑organized by CHINGMU, the conference will be chaired by Professor Li Shihua, President of Jiangsu Automation Society from Southeast University. It provides engineers, researchers and scholars with a platform to discuss the current progress and future trends of sensing, actuation, motion control and optimization technologies.

CHINGMU is honoured to participate in the workshop as a co‑organizer. A dedicated motion‑capture demonstration area will be set up on‑site for participants to visit and experience. CHINGMU’s self‑developed optical motion‑capture system achieves high‑precision positioning of human bodies or rigid bodies via motion‑tracking cameras. It delivers low‑latency, stable and user‑friendly accurate 6DOF tracking data for research on sensing‑actuation and motion‑control, integrates multi‑source measurement data and monitors motion trajectories in real‑time. The system supports algorithm verification for motion‑calculation accuracy and trajectories, so as to improve research efficiency.
