In the era of deep integration between digital technology and creative industries, college students, as a new force in innovation, are reshaping the boundaries of cultural creativity with their unique perspectives and cutting-edge thinking. On June 12th, the 10th "Huichuang Youth" Shanghai College Students' Cultural and Creative Works Exhibition Season, hosted by the Working Committee of Education and Health of the Communist Party of China Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and undertaken by Shanghai Film Art College, kicked off grandly at the Shanghai International Fashion Center.
At the event, the digital education achievements jointly created by Shanghai Film Art College and CHINGMU drew widespread attention. As a partner of the college, CHINGMU leveraged its industry-leading optical motion capture system to tailor a digital education solution for the college. By integrating high-precision motion capture technology with teaching management, it has built an immersive teaching ecosystem that combines practical training, creation, and display, providing a new model for the digital upgrading of higher education.
Traditional education models currently face multiple challenges: single-classroom teaching, lack of practical scenarios, and a prominent contradiction between the market's demand for innovative practical talents and the lagging training system... Assembly-line knowledge indoctrination severely restricts students' personalized development. CHINGMU, with AI technology as its core driving force, promotes digital transformation in education. Through its optical motion capture solutions, it helps schools and institutions create immersive training scenarios. By combining cutting-edge technologies such as precise motion capture databases and intelligent analysis algorithms, it breaks through learning blind spots, effectively making up for the shortage of practical scenarios in traditional education and achieving deep integration of theory and practice.
AI-Driven Digital Humans: The AI Interactive Digital Human Training Room
The AI Interactive Digital Human Training Room created by CHINGMU for Shanghai Film Art College became a highlight of the exhibition area. Relying on a high-precision optical motion capture system, the training room deeply integrates curriculum resources with teaching management software. Teachers can flexibly configure diversified teaching scenarios such as digital human modeling, expression driving, and motion synthesis according to different course characteristics and students' personalized needs. Meanwhile, at the end of the teaching process, the AI holographic display cabinet is used to realize three-dimensional image display for various scenarios, including real people, dance, and digital humans, bringing a more impactful immersive experience and creating a favorable atmosphere for cultivating innovative talents.
AI Dance Motion Capture: Enabling Real-Time Digital Human Performance
During the event, the highly personalized and precise innovative education solutions attracted attention from various media. Dean Qu Huijia of the Performing Arts College of Shanghai Film Art College stated in an interview with Jiao Shi News of Shanghai Education Television: "The dynamic presentation of digital humans relies on precise data driving. In the traditional model, dancers can only perform on stage, but now students can rely on standard motion resources in the motion capture database to directly endow digital humans with creative concepts. This means that students can not only perform dances themselves but also achieve infinite extensions of creative expression through digital humans."

In addition, addressing the issue of disconnection between theory and practice in traditional courses against the backdrop of accelerated digitalization of higher education and integration of industry and education, CHINGMU has integrated industry needs and cutting-edge technical standards into teaching, constructing a rich practical curriculum system to help students quickly master core skills on campus and open up a growth path from campus to the workplace. "CHINGMU has provided us with great support in teaching," pointed out Teacher Luan Jianchao, "Not only do technical personnel offer us operational guidance related to motion capture, but relevant courses are also closely integrated with our teaching content."
