CHINGMU Named to ARinChina 2024 XR Industry Innovative Hardware List

On January 17th, the highly influential and anticipated ARinChina 2024 XR Industry Annual Honor List was officially unveiled. CHINGMU, with its outstanding contributions to empowering XR technology and industry development, as well as its benchmark role in the industry, was honored to be included in the 2024 XR Industry Innovative Hardware List.

The 2024 XR Industry Annual Honor List was hosted by ARinChina and supported by various institutions such as the Jiangyin AI Innovation Center, the Mixed Reality Application Research Institute of the National Innovation Center for Advanced Manufacturing in Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong Digital Creativity Technology Research Institute, and the Digital Cultural Industry Research Institute of Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications. After rigorous selection, 90 representative companies and individuals were selected from 500 enterprises to make up the final list, which covers 16 subcategories within 7 major categories in the XR field, ranging from hardware to applications.

CHINGMU's selected XR hardware system, CMTracker, is a motion capture system independently developed by CHINGMU. CMTracker utilizes high-precision image processing algorithms and a 10,000-parameter distortion correction algorithm from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, significantly enhancing the accuracy of optical motion capture. Its design optimizes the motion capture process, combining Intel CPU instruction set algebra libraries and multithreading technology to achieve efficient computation, capable of tracking 480 targets within 1.9 milliseconds. CMTracker also automatically adjusts parameters based on the scene, allowing for one-click creation of rigid body or human skeleton models.

Furthermore, CMTracker adopts a C/S architecture, with the Server end installed on the motion capture server responsible for data processing and analysis. The Client end offers greater flexibility, which can be installed on various types of computers to provide UI interaction functions for the motion capture system or integrated into third-party applications to form a comprehensive solution.

ARinChina is currently China's largest online integrated service platform focusing on the augmented reality industry, covering technology, industry media, and education.
