"Look Up and See Joy"

In the theme short film of "In Grandpa's Metaverse Adventure," Wang He Di and Vivi form a "Metaverse" action squad for the purpose of assisting Grandpa, played by Luo Jingmin, to fulfill his heartfelt yearning to reunite with his wife. Utilizing digital likeness and motion-capture technology, they manage to "revive" Grandma in the Metaverse, orchestrating a heartfelt reunion between the elderly couple.

The film employs CHINGMU's MC series of optical motion capture technology presented in "Joy on the Horizon".

As an 84-year-old, Grandpa ventures into creating a digital human, while his grandson endows "Grandma" with life-like movements using Qingtong MC series motion capture system. "Coco" gives us a distinct interpretation of death, but "Joy on the Horizon" with its fusion of reality and virtuality spanning time and space, possibly provides an alternative contemplation about life and death.
