Asian Games Breakdance

CHINGMU, through its self-developed and self-produced enterprise-level optical motion capture system, assisted the Pengpai Meishu course column in capturing the movement data of breakdancing, presenting it in stunning detail and capturing all angles comprehensively.

The high-precision optical motion capture technology was implemented to dissect classic and challenging floor movements in breakdancing. Actions such as the dancers's ankles and toes, step changes, major rotations of off-axis body spins, and continuous spins, among others, were analyzed to gauge the dancers' skill and expressiveness.

Ultimately, by adopting the avant-garde form of digital personas, break dancing's technical expertise, diversity, competitiveness, rhythm, and creativity were all proficiently showcased. Simultaneously, this effort has fortified the inclusion of breakdancing into the roster of the Paris Olympics and the Asian Games, helping spread the spirit of the Olympic sports worldwide.
